Climate Actions

Recognizing that the majority of its product carbon footprint originates from the upstream supply chain, Shanghai GuanHua is working to reduce the carbon footprint of the entire supply chain by sourcing alternative materials and encouraging suppliers to conduct greenhouse gas inventories. In the future, the company aims to actively promote greenhouse gas accounting and emission reduction target setting among 70% of its suppliers (covering all goods and service providers). Additionally, with the support of Carbon Newture, Shanghai GuanHua has developed short-term and long-term carbon neutrality management plans, using 2022 as the baseline year.

Climate Milestone

  • 2024

    - With the support of Carbon Newture, three models of casserole with lids from GuanHua's cookware brand cizzle received the cookware industry's first carbon neutrality certificate based on ISO 14068-1.

    - GuanHua's Chongming distributed wind power project was officially launched in Xincun Township, Chongming District. The project has an installed capacity of 16.68 MW, combined with a previously constructed 5.9 MW distributed photovoltaic power system. This will enable the company to achieve self-sufficiency in electricity usage, with surplus power fed into the grid, creating a "zero-carbon" factory.

The platform looks forward to working with cooperative companies to promote the intelligent dual-carbon transformation of the light industry handicraft industry
