Zhejiang International Trade Group, a provincial state-owned enterprise, was established in 2008 through the merger of the former Rongda Group, Zhongda Group, and Dongfang Group. The company primarily operates in three major industries: trade and commerce, financial services, and life and health. It owns over 300 subsidiaries at various levels and holds controlling stakes in four publicly listed companies: Zhejiang Orient (SH600120), Jointown Pharmaceutical (SZ000411), Konka Pharmaceuticals (SH600572), and ELL Environmental Holdings (SZ002686). The group employs nearly 30,000 people. In recent years, the group has adhered to a development strategy driven by Party leadership, leveraging reforms to unleash momentum, fostering innovation to drive vitality, and promoting integration through culture. These efforts have significantly improved operational quality and efficiency, with key performance indicators reaching historic highs. Zhejiang International Trade Group, guided by president Xi's Thought on Ecological Civilization, fully implements the work plans of the provincial party committee, provincial government, Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment regarding energy conservation, emission reduction, carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, and the construction of a Beautiful Zhejiang. The group is deeply committed to the philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and continues to advance its green development initiatives.

- Aligned with the realities of its member companies, Zhejiang International Business Group Co., Ltd. developed differentiated 2023 energy conservation and emission reduction responsibility agreements and performance evaluation indicators. These initiatives aim to reinforce corporate responsibility for energy conservation and emission reduction, integrating these efforts into daily production, operations, and management.
- The group issued the ”2023 Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Work Plan“, identifying the creation and upgrading of green factories, carbon intensity reduction, and the development of a digital platform for safe and green growth as specific goals and key tasks for achieving energy conservation, emission reduction, and carbon peaking. It strengthened oversight, incentives, performance evaluations, and accountability mechanisms to ensure coordinated implementation throughout the year.
- Using green factory creation as a focal point, the group accelerated the green and low-carbon transformation of its industrial enterprises. In 2023, Zhejiang Conba Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hangzhou Conba were recognized as national-level green factories; Jiangxi Conba and Jiangxi Tianshikang were awarded provincial-level green factory status; and Jinhua Conba and the Conba Plant Medicine Industrial Park were upgraded to provincial-level green factories. By the end of 2023, the group had a total of nine green factories.2022

Zhejiang Orient's ESG practices were included in the Top 100 Leading ESG Cases of Chinese Listed Companies, ELL Environmental Holdings' ESG efforts received the National New Bull Award for Top 50 Technology-Driven Companies, and Conba's ESG performance earned a Top 100 Award in the China Listed Company Value Awards.
